Honoring Raynard Villa Hall's Legacy

Bronzecomm has been a cornerstone of informed journalism in black Chicago, dedicated to sharing stories that matter. Today, we embark on a bittersweet journey, marked by both loss and promise. It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our beloved founder and publisher, Raynard Villa Hall, on October 1, 2023. His legacy, passion, and dedication to the cause of black Chicagoans will forever be etched in our hearts.

Many of you joined us for the memorial, for those that didn’t, we have included a link to the service below.

Continuing the Legacy

Raynard Villa Hall was more than a journalist; he was an advocate who gave voice to the voiceless, a champion of truth and justice. In his honor, his family has made the decision to continue Bronzecomm, preserving its integrity while embracing innovative technology and modern design. Our goal is not only to create a newsletter you'll eagerly open but one you'll enthusiastically share with others.

These communications will be an opportunity for us to understand your preferences and expectations better. We want to ensure that the news we deliver aligns with your desires and interests. Bronzecomm is committed to bringing you the stories that impact black Chicago, and we're eager to enhance interaction among our readers. Your feedback will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Bronzecom, but especially the new BronzecommHub Community (more on this later).
